| Sauratown Trails Association, Inc. is a non-profit trails organization formed in 1988. STA members are avid horse & nature lovers dedicated to promoting, creating and maintaining horseback and hiking trails in Stokes and Surry counties of North Carolina. Our Association is unique because we rely on the generosity of private landowners who allow us to build, use and maintain trails on their property. The trails may be used by all horseback riders and hikers regardless of whether or not they are a member of STA. | |

Recreational trails are
diminishing at an alarming rate. We encourage and invite all
horseback riders and hikers who believe in preserving and
expanding our trails to join STA.
STA membership is available to individuals over 18 and to
families. Individual fee is $15. per year. Family fee is $25.
per year. Our group meets the 3rd Thursday of each month. An
application for membership is available through the
Membership link on the left side of the screen.
