Directions to the main parking area and picnic shelter:
From Winston-Salem:  Take US.52 N, exit at RJR/Moore Springs Rd. (exit #122) Turn left off the exit and go 4.5 miles to Rt.66. Turn left on Rt.66 and go 7.5 miles to the second entrance of Taylor Rd. Turn left on Taylor Rd, go a short distance, then turn right on Rockhouse Rd. Go about .3 of a mile and turn left into the parking area at the red gate.
From areas north of Pilot Mtn:  Take US.52 S, exit at Pilot Mtn.(exit 134). Turn left on Rt. 268. Stay on Rt 268 until you reach Rock House Rd. Turn right on Rock House Rd., and continue almost to the end. The parking & picnic area is on the right.
This is a gravel parking lot with room to park about 15-20 trucks and trailers. It has a covered picnic shelter with tables and a bathroom facility. Although there is no running water here, there is plenty of water for your horses in the many small streams you'll cross along the trail.

Directions to Tori's Den parking area:
From Winston-Salem: Take US.52 N, exit at RJR/Moores Spring Rd. (exit #122) Turn left off the exit and go 4.5 miles to Rt.66. There's a stoplight at this intersection. Turn left at this light onto Rt.66 and go approximately 6 miles and turn right onto Moores Spring Rd. Go 1/2 mile and turn right onto Mickey Rd. Go .8 mile and turn right onto Charlie Young Rd. The paved parking area is on the left .4 mile up Charlie Young Rd.
From areas north of Pilot Mtn:  Take US.52 S, exit at Pilot Mtn.(exit 134). Turn left on Rt. 268. Stay on Rt 268 until you reach Rock House Rd. Turn right on Rock House Rd. At the end of Rock House Rd turn left on Taylor Rd. At the end of Taylor Rd, turn right onto Rt 66. Go about a mile up curvy Rt 66 and turn left onto Moores Spring Rd. Go 1/2 mile and turn right onto Mickey Rd. Go .8 mile and turn right onto Charlie Young Rd. The paved parking area is on the left .4 mile up Charlie Young Rd.
This is a paved parking area with no facilities and can park 4 or 5 horse truck & trailers and several smaller vehicles. One horseback riding & hiking trail begins at the near end of the parking lot while the hiking only trail begins at the far end of the parking lot. The Sauratown Loop trail can be reached by riding back down Charlie Young Rd for .2 mile. This trail entrance is on the left side of the road. Look for trail signs.

Directions to the Coon Rd parking area:
Take US 52. Exit at the Pilot Mtn State Park exit. (exit 130)  If you're traveling north, turn right at the end of the exit ramp. If you're traveling south, turn left at the end of the exit ramp. Go down Pilot Mtn Park Rd to the stop sign. Turn left on Old Winston Rd.  Go about a half mile and the parking area is on the right. The trail entrance is at the end of the parking lot closest to Coon Rd. and is marked by wooden rails.
This is a gravel lot that can hold a good number of vehicles and has a small covered picnic shelter here but no restrooms.

Directions to Brim's Grove Rd. parking area:
From US.52, exit at Pinnacle exit #129. If you exited from 52 South, turn left onto Perch Rd. If you exited from 52 North, turn right onto Perch Rd. Go about 1 mile to the stop sign. Turn left at the stop sign onto Old Rt 52. Go 1.7 miles and turn right onto Coon Rd. Go 1.6 miles and turn left on Volunteer Rd. Go a very short distance and turn right on Brim's Grove Rd. The parking area is .2 mile down this road on the left. This is a small gravel parking area with a covered picnic table. There are no bathroom facilities at this parking area.  To get to the trail entrance, cross the road, go a short distance and it will be on the left. Look for the trail signs.

Directions to Surry Line Rd. parking area:
From US.52, exit at Pinnacle exit #129. If you exited from 52 South, turn left onto Perch Rd. If you exited from 52 North, turn right onto Perch Rd. Go about 1 mile to the stop sign. Turn left at the stop sign onto Old Rt 52. Go .1 miles and turn left onto Surry Line Rd. Go 1.7 miles and turn left on Culler Rd. Make an immediate right into the parking area. The trail begins at the far end of the parking area . This parking area is a good sized paved lot and has restroom facilities.
